Cleated backing will keep mats in place on many types of commercial carpet, especially ones with 100% loop or cut/loop pile construction.

Smooth Back

Suitable on hard surface for normal placements, extremely heavy pedestrian traffic, continuous cart or buggy traffic.

It may be necessary to use a carpet underlayment on some types of carpeting, especially ones that have a cut pile construction to keep the mats in place.
